Doha: Qatar News Agency concluded Thursday a training course titled 'Photography and Interview Skills' as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the skills of media personnel in photography and professional media. The five-day course, in which QNA employees and employees from several government sectors participated, aimed to enhance the participants capabilities in professional photography, conducting radio and television interviews, and enhancing skills in dealing with the press. The course covered several topics, including sound concentration and delivery skills, in addition to practical applications on radio and television interviews under the supervision of a specialized instructor. Participants also prepared and discussed graduation projects related to photography and visual storytelling techniques at the end of the course. The course also focused on practical training in photography, with a focus on changing roles and general protocols for media interviews. Participants were trained to apply the acqu ired skills in multiple media production contexts. The course concluded with graduation projects, where participants presented their ideas and discussed the results of their work. In March 2023, QNA inaugurated the 'QNA Training Halls' at its headquarters, in line with its vision to develop media personnel by offering specialized, qualitative training programs and out of its keenness to support the media arena with young Qatari media cadres and provide them with the necessary skills to keep pace with the transformations in this vital field.
