Berlin: A specialized symposium on the development of news agency journalism is set to take place in Berlin on Monday, with participation from the Qatar News Agency (QNA). The event aims to explore strategies for enhancing the performance of news agencies, improving staff expertise, and keeping up with advancements in communications and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the symposium will address the challenge of combating the spread of fake news on social media platforms.
According to Qatar News Agency, the symposium is organized by the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA). It will bring together representatives from various news agencies, including those from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Palestine. Additionally, the German Press Agency (dpa) will be in attendance, contributing to the diverse range of perspectives aimed at fostering the growth and adaptation of news agency journalism in today's rapidly evolving media landscape.
