Lausanne: HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, Senior Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), participated in the 92nd ANOC Executive Council Meeting held today in Lausanne, Switzerland. IOC President Kirsty Coventry also attended the meeting, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the International Olympic Committee and ANOC to promote Olympic values worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Sheikh Joaan's participation in the meeting emphasized Qatar's active involvement within the global Olympic community. He reiterated the country's commitment to fostering closer collaboration among National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to support athletes and advance the Olympic Movement. The meeting served as a platform to discuss strategies for the continued promotion and development of the Olympic ideals across different nations.
