Kuwait City: HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, held a meeting with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 45th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia in the State of Kuwait.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion revolved around enhancing cooperation between the QOC and the National Olympic Committee of Iran. The leaders explored ways to support and develop sports across the region, aiming to strengthen ties and promote mutual interests in the field of athletics.

HE Secretary General of QOC, Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, was also in attendance, highlighting the importance of the meeting in fostering regional sports collaborations.
