QRDI Announced as Strategic Partner for Web Summit Qatar 2026

Doha: The Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) announced that it will be a strategic partner for Web Summit Qatar 2026 for the third consecutive year, in addition to its role as the principal partner of the Corporate Innovation Summit, the high-level event that precedes the summit and brings together a selection of business leaders, decision-makers and innovation pioneers from around the world.

According to Qatar News Agency, the council stated that it will showcase, in cooperation with leading global institutions, its programs and initiatives during Web Summit Qatar 2026. The event is set to take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from February 1 to 4, attracting participants from around the globe to one of the region's foremost technology and innovation gatherings.

The council's pavilion, located at site E515, will once again serve as a vital platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation leaders from various countries. It will highlight initiatives implemented by the council in partnership with local and international entities, also functioning as a forum for networking and knowledge exchange.

Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to attend panel sessions and specialized discussions aimed at accelerating growth within Qatar's expanding innovation ecosystem. These activities support partnership-building and enhance dialogues contributing to the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Corporate Innovation Summit will convene a selection of leaders and innovators to address major challenges facing the business world. It offers a full-day networking experience, including advanced training sessions and opportunities to engage with pioneers shaping the future of the business sector in the 21st century.

Originating in Dublin and held annually in Lisbon, Portugal, the Web Summit is a leading global technology and innovation event. The Qatar edition serves as the flagship event for the Middle East and North Africa region.

This year's edition is expected to draw over 30,000 participants, including more than 700 investors and over 1,500 selected startups worldwide across multiple sectors. Additionally, more than 150 exhibitors and partners, such as QRDI, Snapchat, and Amazon, are anticipated to participate.
