Doha: President of the Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) Mubarak Ali Al Nuaimi praised the Qatari national team's achievement of securing first place in the open category at the 4th Arab Aquatics Championships for Age Groups, which concludes Monday in Morocco. According to Qatar News Agency, Al Nuaimi affirmed that this achievement would not have been possible without the great efforts made by the swimmers during training, their spirit of teamwork, and the continuous support provided by the technical and administrative staff. The President of the QSA extended his gratitude and appreciation to the national team athletes for their honorable performance throughout the championship, considering them a source of pride and a distinguished representation of Qatari sport. He stressed that the Association will continue to provide full support to the swimmers and ensure all necessary resources to develop their skills and refine their talents to make sure that Qatar is well represented at continental and international events. The Qatari swimming team concluded its participation in the 4th Arab Aquatics Championships with a total of 20 medals: 10 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze. The event brings together talents from 19 Arab countries and includes competitions in swimming, water polo, and open water swimming.
