Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) experienced a decline of 28.83 points, or 0.25%, at the beginning of Monday's trading session, settling at 11,311 points compared to the previous day's closing.
According to Qatar News Agency, the index was pressured by decreases in five sectors. The Industrials sector saw a decline of 0.61%, while Transportation fell by 0.52%. The Real Estate sector dropped by 0.21%, Telecoms by 0.10%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%. Conversely, the Insurance sector showed a rise of 1.85%, and Consumer Goods and Services increased by 0.17%.
By 10:00 am, trading activities included 17.483 million shares exchanged through 2,344 transactions, with a total trading value of QR 39.738 million.
