Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Tuesday's trading session on a positive note, gaining 21.14 points, or 0.21 percent, to settle at 10,325.29 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 196,554,663 shares, with a total value reaching QR 469,908,117.429, executed through 25,605 transactions across various sectors.

Out of the companies listed, 21 saw an increase in their share prices, while 29 experienced a decline, and three companies' share prices remained unchanged from their previous closing figures.

The market capitalization at the close of the session amounted to QR 609,260,717,761.493, showing an increase compared to the previous session's QR 608,216,309,673.496, reflecting the day's overall positive market movement.
