Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading with an increase of 47.17 points, or 0.46 percent, reaching 10,232.95 points. During the session, 116,306,948 shares were exchanged, amounting to QAR 363,275,721.950, across 14,885 transactions spanning all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, 17 companies experienced a rise in their share prices, while 31 companies saw their share prices decline. Five companies maintained their previous closing prices. The market capitalization at the end of the trading session was QAR 600,704,002,913.641, compared to QAR 598,289,989,768.559 in the previous session.
