Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 28.48 points, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 10,850.33 points. During the session, a total of 122,046,673 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 313,213,332.127, through 20,699 transactions across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 27 companies rose during the session, while 21 companies saw their stocks decline. Five companies maintained their previous closing prices. At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QAR 649,496,750,962.321, compared to QAR 647,982,073,424.003 in the previous session.
