Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Sunday's trading session on a positive note, gaining 38.210 points, or 0.37 percent, to reach a closing value of 10,501.25 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a substantial volume of trading, with 142,504,931 shares exchanged. The total value of these trades amounted to QAR316,133,238.155, conducted over 15,745 transactions covering all sectors of the market.
The performance of individual stocks varied, with 18 companies recording an increase in their share prices. In contrast, 30 companies experienced a decline, and three companies' shares remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
Market capitalization witnessed a slight increase, closing at QAR621,928,412,262.197, compared to QAR620,025,697,691.469 recorded at the end of the previous session.
