Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed trading on Thursday lower by 62.71 points, or 0.55 percent, to settle at 11,310.38 points. During the session, a total of 201,645,885 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 689,645,189.663, executed through 36,474 transactions across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 11 listed companies rose during the session, while 40 others declined. Two companies closed unchanged. Market capitalization at the end of the session stood at QAR 675,658,132,517.018, compared with QAR 680,331,304,005.868 in the previous session.
