QSE Index Closes Lower with Marginal Decline

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a slight downturn on Thursday, closing 10.64 points lower, or 0.10 percent, to settle at 10,712.82 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of 105,906,039 shares, amounting to a total value of QAR 365,396,872.410. These transactions were executed through 29,567 deals across all sectors of the market.

During the session, the stock prices of 18 companies increased, while 23 companies witnessed a decline in their stock values. Meanwhile, 11 companies maintained their previous closing prices.

By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization of QSE had decreased to QAR 639,650,156,798.460, down from QAR 640,154,611,320.670 recorded in the previous trading session.
