Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 7.95 points, or 0.08 percent, to close at 10,593.53 points. During the session, 219,998,757 shares, valued at QR 464,878,092.935, were traded in 21,917 transactions across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 27 companies rose, while 20 companies saw a decline in their share prices, and 5 companies maintained their previous closing price. Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QR 625,563,037,022.296, compared to QR 623,851,177,737.458 in the previous session.
