Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Sunday's trading higher by 52.01 points, or 0.50 percent, to close at 10,499.64 points. During the session, 176,131,135 shares, valued at QAR 342,996,642.191, were traded in 12,830 transactions across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, by the end of the session, shares of 21 companies rose, while 27 companies saw a decline in their share price, and five companies maintained their previous closing price. Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 616,823,654,155.312, compared to QAR 614,984,206,600.763 in the previous session.
