QSE Index Declines as 35 Companies’ Stocks Fall

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Thursday, with a decline of 124.45 points, or 1.12 percent, bringing it to 10,957.95 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 124,125,466 shares being exchanged, amounting to a value of QR 378,833,362.339, executed through 21,717 transactions spanning all sectors.

During the day's trading, the shares of 11 companies saw an increase, while 35 companies experienced a drop in their stock prices. Additionally, six companies maintained their previous closing prices.

By the end of the session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 656,326,973,632.040, in contrast to QR 662,804,712,443.822 in the previous trading session.
