QSE Index Declines by 96.99 Points Amid Broad Market Downturn

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Monday, decreasing by 96.99 points, or 0.89 percent, to reach 10,757.96 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 127,143,428 shares were traded during the session, with a value of QR 379,335,319.853, through 27,971 transactions across all sectors. The trading activity witnessed the shares of 15 companies rise, while 35 companies saw a decline, and three companies maintained their previous closing price.

At the close of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 644,638,026,851.030, compared to QR 648,468,313,653.490 in the previous session, reflecting a decline in overall market value.
