Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 7.01 points, or 0.07 percent, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,189 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in three sectors: Transportation by 0.14%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.19%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.32%. However, the index saw a rise in Telecoms and Insurance by 0.54%; Real Estate by 0.24%; and Industrials by 0.01%. By 10:00 am, 17.390 million shares were traded in 1,733 transactions valued QR 40.902 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
