QSE Index Drops 0.24% at Market Open

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index dropped 26.37 points, or 0.24%, to 10,931 points at the start of trading on Sunday, compared with the previous session's close.

According to Qatar News Agency, losses were recorded across most sectors: Telecoms (-0.70%), Real Estate (-0.55%), Industrials (-0.54%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.23%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.13%), and Transportation (-0.02%). Meanwhile, the Insurance sector gained (+0.67%).

As of 10:00 am, trading volume reached 15.052 million shares, with turnover totaling QR 35.660 million across 2,642 transactions.
