Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 73.93 points, or 0.69%, at the start of trading on Sunday, down to the level of 10,659 points, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE was weighed down by a decline in most sectors: Insurance by 0.26%; Industrials by 0.33%; Real Estate by 0.38%; Transportation by 0.47%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.87% and Telecoms by 1.12%. On the other hand, the index saw a rise in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.01%. By 10:00 am, 23.774 million shares were traded in 1,718 transactions valued QR 47.372 million.
