Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 29.76 points, or 0.28 %, at the start of trading on Wednesday, down to the level of 10,600 points, compared to Tuesday's closing. QSE figures showed a negative performance for the Real Estate by 0.56%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.50%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.29%; Industrials by 0.09 and Insurance by 0.01%. However the index saw a rise in Telecoms by 0.30%; and Transportation by 0.04%. By 10:00 am, 50.609 million shares were traded in 2,924 transactions valued QR 97.054 million.
