Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 42.28 points, or 0.40%, at the start of trading on Wednesday, down to the level of 10,548 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE index was weighed down by a decline in six sectors: Telecoms by 0.86%; Industrials by 0.40%; Bank and Financial Services by 0.36%; Insurance by 0.33%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.26%; and Transportation by 0.15%. On the other hand, Real Estate rose by 0.70%. Around 10:00 am, 68.386 million shares were traded in 2,989 transactions valued QR 111.635 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
