The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 44.54 points, or 0.44 percent, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,012 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Industrials by 0.03 percent; Telecoms by 0.31 percent; Transportation by 0.46 percent; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.77 percent. However, the index saw a rise in Insurance by 1.25 percent; Real Estate by 0.94 percent; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.52 percent. By 10:00 am, 38.679 million shares were traded in 2,478 transactions valued QAR 71.176 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
