Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index lost 0.30% at the start of today's trading session, dropping 31.31 points to reach 10,494 points, compared to the previous session's closing.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decline in the index was attributed to the negative performance of several sectors. The Telecoms sector saw a decrease of 0.55%, Transportation fell by 0.43%, Banking and Financial Services dropped by 0.28%, Industrials decreased by 0.23%, and Real Estate declined by 0.15%. Conversely, the Insurance sector experienced a slight increase of 0.21%, and Consumer Goods and Services rose by 0.06%.
At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,603 transactions worth QR 38.382 million, distributed over 18.604 million shares.
