Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed today's trading at a lower level, registering a decrease of 44.37 points, or 0.42 percent, to settle at 10,410.71 points. According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 94,929,377 shares being exchanged, with a total trading value amounting to QR 213,919,567.314 across 7,785 transactions covering various sectors. In terms of stock performance, 12 companies recorded gains, while 35 companies experienced losses, and four companies retained their previous closing prices. At the conclusion of the trading session, the market capitalization was reported at QR 615,828,767,466.170, a decline from the previous session's market capitalization of QR 619,509,921,510.530.
