Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Sunday's trading by 0.57%, gaining 60.70 points to reach 10,668 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Telecoms by 1.82%, followed by Insurance with a rise of 1.37%. The Banks and Financial Services sector increased by 0.75%, while Consumer Goods and Services went up by 0.64%. Industrials saw a gain of 0.27%, and Real Estate recorded a slight increase of 0.04%. However, the Transportation sector experienced a decline of 0.16%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 54.605 million from 16.960 million shares traded in 2,965 transactions.
