Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.26% at the beginning of Mondays trading, adding 25.04 points, and thus rising to 9,595 points, compared to the closing of Sundays session, supported by six sectors. Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed positive performance for the Real Estate sector by 0.49%, the Transportation sector by 0.39%, the Banking and Financial Services sector by 0.36%, the Telecom sector by 0.35%, the Industrial sector by 0.29% and the Insurance sector by 0.13%, while the performance was negative for the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.11%. At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1894 transactions worth QR 46.515 million, distributed over 21.629 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
