Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped by 0.20% at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, losing 21.42 points compared to Monday's session closing, falling to the level of 10,585 points, driven by pressure from six sectors. QSE figures attributed the decline in the general index to the negative performance of several sectors: the consumer goods and services sector fell by 0.40 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.38 percent, the real estate sector by 0.19 percent, both the telecommunications and insurance sectors by 0.14 percent and the transportation sector by 0.03 percent. In contrast, the industrial sector showed a positive performance with a rise of 0.09 percent.
