Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index saw a slight increase of 10,824 points, or 0.01%, at the start of Wednesday's trading session, supported by the performance of four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sectors leading the rise included Real Estate with a 0.50% increase, followed by Consumer Goods and Services at 0.18%, Telecoms at 0.16%, and Banks and Financial Services at 0.13%. In contrast, some sectors experienced a decline, with Transportation down by 0.37%, Industrials decreasing by 0.20%, and Insurance by 0.04%.
By 10:00 am, the trading turnover had reached QR 27.142 million, with a total of 10.864 million shares changing hands across 1,689 transactions.
