Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index commenced the trading session on a positive note, advancing by 0.21 percent, equivalent to 23.38 points, to attain 11184 points compared to the previous session's closing figures.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated positive trajectories in three key sectors: Transportation, which gained 0.82 percent, Telecoms, up by 0.62 percent, and Banks and Financial Services, which saw an increase of 0.22 percent. In contrast, sectors such as Real Estate, Industrials, Insurance, and Consumer Goods and Services recorded declines, with decreases of 0.11 percent, 0.12 percent, 0.20 percent, and 0.20 percent, respectively.
By 10:00 am, the trading activity showed a turnover of QAR 47.221 million, encompassing 20.998 million shares traded across 3,840 transactions.
