Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Sunday's trading by 0.97%, gaining 107.74 points to reach 11,175 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains across various sectors. Transportation led the gains with an increase of 1.50%, followed by Real Estate at 1.12%. Banks and Financial Services saw a rise of 0.99%, while Telecoms increased by 0.75%. Industrials experienced a growth of 0.66%, Consumer Goods and Services went up by 0.47%, and Insurance posted a rise of 0.25%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 78.556 million from 36.191 million shares traded across 5,209 transactions, illustrating an active trading session early in the day.
