Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday's trading in the green zone, rising by 18.21 points, or 0.17%, to reach 10,684 points, compared to the previous close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index was supported by gains in several sectors. Banks and Financial Services and Telecoms both saw an increase of 0.32%. Gains were also observed in Real Estate with a rise of 0.26%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.17%, and Industrials at 0.05%. However, some sectors witnessed declines, with Insurance dropping by 0.01% and Transportation by 0.10%.
By 10:00 am, trading activity included a total of 33.573 million shares exchanged in 2,056 transactions, amounting to a value of QR 56.860 million.
