Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index saw a decrease of 11.46 points, or 0.10%, at the commencement of trading on Tuesday, dropping to 11,010 points from the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decline was primarily led by the Insurance sector, which decreased by 0.88%. This was followed by a drop in the Transportation sector by 0.30%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%, Telecoms by 0.10%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%, and Industrials by 0.04%. The Real Estate sector showed no change, remaining flat at 0.00%.
By 10:00 am, the QSE reported a trading volume of 33.781 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 93.823 million across 3,222 transactions.
