Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 0.66 points, or 0.01%, to 10,620 points at the start of trading on Tuesday, compared with the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in the Industrials sector at 0.22%, Transportation by 0.21%, Real Estate by 0.12%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.08%, and Telecoms by 0.03%. However, the index was weighed down by losses in Banks and Financial Services by 0.20% and Insurance by 0.89%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 84.766 million from 30.468 million shares traded across 2,478 transactions.
