Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened the week on a downward trend on Sunday, registering a decline of 52.04 points, or 0.47%, to reach 10,904 points at the start of trading.
According to Qatar News Agency, the index faced pressure from losses across all sectors. The Telecoms sector led the decline with a decrease of 1.10%, followed by Transportation at 0.78%, Insurance at 0.76%, Banks and Financial Services at 0.54%, Industrials at 0.39%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.31%, and Real Estate at 0.03%.
By 10:00 am, the exchange had recorded a turnover of QR 77.046 million, with 33.644 million shares traded across 3,459 transactions.
