QSE Index Records 0.49% Decline

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Wednesday, declining by 52.45 points, or 0.49 percent, to reach 10,693.47 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 121,993,995 shares were traded during the session, with a value of QR 361,872,497.506, through 22,776 transactions across all sectors. Shares of 21 companies rose during the session, while 24 companies saw their stocks decline. Five companies maintained their previous closing prices.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 640,533,239,772.623, compared to QR 643,449,830,619.294 in the previous session.
