QSE Index Records Slight Uptick Amid Active Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Thursday with a modest increase, climbing by 23.06 points, or 0.23 percent, to end the day at 10,260.17 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session was marked by the exchange of 228,931,097 shares, amounting to a value of QAR 645,597,955.331. These figures were achieved through the execution of 25,551 transactions spanning all sectors.

Throughout the session, the market dynamics saw the shares of 38 companies appreciate in value, while 12 companies experienced a decline in their share prices. Meanwhile, three companies managed to maintain their previous closing prices without any change.

By the close of the trading day, the market capitalization experienced a rise, reaching QAR 605,492,022,064.537, compared to the previous session's QAR 603,964,049,727.495.
