Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 12.74 points, or 0.12% to reach the level of 10,273 points at the beginning of trading on Monday, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was supported by a rise in most sectors: Telecoms by 0.66%; Transportation by 0.38%; Industrials by 0.27%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.19%; Real Estate by 0.05%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.03%. However, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.01%. By 10:00 am, 18.461 million shares were traded in 1,958 transactions valued QR 42.607 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
