The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 13.55 points, or 0.13%, at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, to reach the level of 10,281 points, compared to yesterday's closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Transportation by 0.88%; Insurance by 0.63%; Real Estate by 0.53%; Industrials by 0.50%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.05%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Banks and Financial Services by 0.18%; and Telecoms by 0.49%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,438 transactions worth QR 79.709 million, distributed to 37.611 million shares.
