QSE Index Rises 0.34% at Beginning of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Sunday's trading by 0.34 percent, adding 34.40 points and climbing to the level of 10,294 points, compared to the closing of the previous session.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed a positive performance in several sectors. The Industrial sector rose by 0.89 percent, the Banking and Financial Services sector increased by 0.19 percent, the Real Estate sector improved by 0.16 percent, the Transportations sector grew by 0.09 percent, and the Insurance sector saw a slight uptick of 0.02 percent. In contrast, the Consumer Goods and Services sector experienced a decline of 0.04 percent, and the Telecom sector decreased by 0.11 percent.

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 2,789 transactions valued at QAR 116.059 million, with 38.689 million shares being traded.
