Doha: The QSE index rose at the beginning of Thursday's trading by 0.51%, gaining 54.16 points to reach 10,777 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by six sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Banks and Financial Services (+0.65%), Telecoms (+0.60%), Transportation (+0.28%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.26%), Industrials (+0.19%), and Real Estate (+0.10%). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for Insurance, which fell by 0.50%.

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 33.335 million from 11.995 million shares traded across 2,555 transactions.
