QSE Index Rises 32.06 Points at Start of Trading

Baghdad: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Tuesday's trading by 0.29%, gaining 32.06 points to reach 11,194 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by six sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Banks and Financial Services (+0.49%), Transportation (+0.23%), Real Estate (+0.20%), Industrials (+0.08%), Insurance (+0.05%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.04%). On the other hand, the performance was negative for the Telecoms sector by (-0.06%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 86.103 million from 23.584 million shares traded across 3,403 transactions.
