Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 43.51 points, or 0.43% to reach the level of 10,273 points at the beginning of trading on Monday, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was supported by a rise in most sectors: Real Estate by 0.93%; Industrials by 0.59%; Telecoms by 0.51%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.43%; Transportation by 0.09%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.05%. However, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.06%. By 10:00 am, 29.870 million shares were traded in 2,658 transactions valued QR 70.301 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
