Qatar stock exchange: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Thursday's trading by 0.41%, gaining 46.55 points to reach 11,263 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by five sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in Telecoms (+2.23%), Real Estate (+0.40%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.31%), Industrials (+0.20%), and Insurance (+0.18%). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for Transportation (-0.16%), and Consumer Goods and Services (-0.29%).

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 85.128 million from 18.608 million shares traded across 4,432 transactions.
