Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a significant increase at the close of Tuesday's trading session. The index rose by 199.05 points, marking a 1.93 percent increase, and concluded the day at 10,531.87 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 329,371,131 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 687,970,938.714. These transactions were carried out in 26,645 exchanges across all sectors. The trading session saw an upward trend in the shares of 48 companies, while the shares of 5 companies decreased.

Market capitalization also saw an increase by the end of the day, reaching QAR 621,727,961,087.449, compared to QAR 610,298,468,812.870 at the conclusion of the previous session.
