Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 48.39 points, or 0.46%, at the start of trading on Sunday, reaching 10,568 points, compared to last closing, backed by five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance in Telecoms by 1.16%; Real Estate by 0.63%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.54%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.46% and Industrials by 0.34%.
On the other hand, the performance was negative for Insurance by 0.39% and Transportation by 0.40%.
By 10:00 am, a total of 43.451 million shares were traded in 2,704 transactions, valued at QR 78.649 million.
