QSE Index Sees Gains with 0.57% Increase

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Monday's trading session higher, showing an increase of 64.71 points, or 0.57 percent, to settle at 11,405.01 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 118,667,413 shares being traded, amounting to a value of QAR 413,598,055.427. These transactions were conducted through 29,253 trades across all sectors.

During the session, share prices of 27 companies increased, while 20 companies experienced a decline in their stock prices. Six companies ended the session maintaining their previous closing prices.

By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization was recorded at QAR 681,292,602,530.056, which is an increase compared to QAR 678,069,803,019.460 from the previous session.
