QSE Index Shows Positive Growth with 0.21% Increase at Trading Start

Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 21.89 points, or 0.21%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,631 points, compared to the previous close.

According to Qatar News Agency, figures from the Qatar Stock Exchange indicated positive performance in several sectors. Industrials saw a rise of 0.70%, Consumer Goods and Services increased by 0.15%, Transportation went up by 0.11%, and Banks and Financial Services experienced a modest gain of 0.06%. Conversely, there were declines in Telecoms by 0.08%, Insurance by 0.09%, and Real Estate by 0.15%.

As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 65.797 million shares, with a total value of QR 122.380 million across 3,904 transactions.
