Al khor: Al Shamal edged past Al Gharafa 1-0 in their Round 4 clash of the QSL Cup on Monday at Al Khor Stadium. The lone goal of the match came from Algerian forward Abdessamed Bounacer, securing Al Shamal's victory.

According to Qatar News Agency, with the win, Al Shamal climbed to 8 points, placing eighth in the standings. Al Gharafa remains at just one point, sitting in 19th place.

In another fixture at Al Khor Stadium, Al Waab cruised to a 3-0 victory over Al Kharaitiyat. Goals came from Bahaa Saif, Abdulrahman Khan, and Diogo Filipe. Al Waab now holds 9 points and ranks fifth, while Al Kharaitiyat stays at 10 points in third place.

The QSL Cup features 20 teams from both the first and second divisions, competing in a single-round league format. Each team plays 10 matches over 10 weeks. The top two teams at the end of the league phase qualify directly for the quarterfinals. Teams ranked third through fourteenth advance to a knockout stage, where six matches determine the remaining six quarterfinalists.
