QSL Unveils New Name and Logo for 2025-2026 League Championship

Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has announced a rebranding of its league championship, introducing a new name and logo for the 2025-2026 season. The championship will now be known as the Doha Bank Stars League for the upcoming three seasons.

According to Qatar News Agency, the league's new visual identity, inspired by the championship shield, was revealed alongside the name change. The season's competitions are slated to commence on August 14, with the initial six weeks featuring matches on air-conditioned pitches. The opening round is scheduled to span three days.

The defending champions, Al Sadd, will kick off their title defense against Qatar SC at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on August 16. Prior to this, Al Rayyan will face Al Sailiya at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium on August 14, concurrently with Al Shamal's match against Al Ahli at Khalifa International Stadium. On August 15, Al Arabi is set to play against Al Wakrah at Al Thumama Stadium, while Al Gharafa will compete against Umm Salal at Al Bayt Stadium. The round will wrap up on August 16 as Al Duhail takes on Al Shahania at Khalifa Stadium.
